With a steaming cup of tea in her hand, she was lost in her thoughts; thoughts about prayers. She was looking at the sky; deep, vast, high, out of reach sky standing with all its might without any pillars and support. “It is astonishing” she thought. Then her lips turned into a deep smile as a deep thought lingered in her mind. Would you like to know “what was it?” Hold on, hold your breath. It is going to hit you straight in the heart.
Whenever she sees the sky, it increases her in her faith in prayers. She wonders how Allah has created and maintained that vast sky without pillars and supports. If He can create and maintain it without supports, does I really need to see any cause and effect for fulfillment of my prayers? Do you also???
Surah Mulk. (67:3,4)
Translation: “He is the One Who created seven heavens, one above the other. You will never see any imperfection in the creation of the Most Compassionate. So look again: do you see any flaws? Then look again and again your sight will return frustrated and weary.
If you have ever looked for a longer time toward sky, you feel disoriented. An ache sweeps through neck. Suddenly, it is tired. Eyes admit their failure to capture the majesty of sky. Isn’t it beautiful. And let me remind you one thing more beautiful. Allah created the skies from nothing. Isn’t it beautiful?

Never Doubt Your Prayers.
There comes a time in life on and off when we feel distracted, lost, low in faith and even doubts about fulfillment of our prayers. Because we are humans. We are impatient by nature. Our brains are wired to think logically, search for evidences and then believe. When we pray and don’t see any ways that may lead to fulfillment of what we have prayed for, we start losing faith and start entering into circle of despair. Our brain tricks us. It says, “oh see, there is nothing changing”, “nothing is working”, “no progress so far”, “things are stuck”.
And from now on, whenever you feel low, feel stuck and see no obvious means toward your destination. This time, you must try to trick your brain before it tricks you. Look at the sky and remember that He, the mightiest, holding it without any support and means. He doens’t need means to fulfill your prayers. Means need him, He doesn’t need them.

I know it is very difficult. We want to see it coming. We want it now then later. We want it all costs, sometimes, at the cost of our peace. But Allah knows when the time is right. When are you becoming capable of holding what you are asking for. Hence, when the time arrives. When you are ready to accept, hold and value what you ask, reaches to your hands. Your prayers are fulfilled. You see the means being created. After He is the creator. Creator of not only heavens and earths, not only creatures, not only angels, But creater of all means, resources, paths and cause & effect. He is creator of everything. He can create from nothing.
Next time, when you see no way just remember that Allah is the creator. He created that huge sky above us from nothingness. He doesn’t need anything to start or create anything, when the time arrives, He creates the means. He creates the cause followed by effect. You just have to believe in Him and His power of doing things from nothing. May Allah accept all our prayers that are good for us in this world and world hereafter.
